Schooldrivers set out to craft an earnest and personal sound through the use of compelling melodies, poignant lyrics, and edgy song arrangements.
Schooldrivers’s sound could be characterized as melodic and appealing, yet hard-hitting and impactful. The pounding rhythm section locks in perfectly with the thundering walls of guitars, while the vocals seamlessly cut through the mix, delivering melody and energy in equally balanced doses. The band showcases a versatile approach to songwriting: they know how to blast great rock’n’roll, but they also know when to take it easier and slowing things down a bit, making for an excellent dynamic range.
Their recent release is a perfect example: The band’s blend of gritty indie textures and modern rock punch can be heard on their recent release, “On My Knees”, a track that showcases the group’s charisma and artistic direction.
Inspired by artists such as Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro, Linkin Park or Nickelback, Schooldrivers managed to connect with a growing fan base through the great energy of their songs and the electrifying power of their live shows: they had the opportunity to play internationally including appearing in front of thousands of people in Turkey, in one of their most memorable live sets to date.
