THE BAND PROJECT

The Band Project tv series was the 1st rock documentary (or rockumentary as it’s commonly expressed) production in Greece. Over 200 greek bands entered the competition for a chance to star on their own.

Schooldrivers were one of the two bands that won a series of stage battles and finally starred the show together with Ainigma, their “rival” in The Band Project.

Aired on MTV GREECE from December 2011 until April 2012, the series makes an effort to cover the parallel stories of the bands and of their characters in 26 episodes.

After the series finale, an online contest was ran by the production nominating Schooldrivers as the official winners of The Band Project, the 1st greek rockumentary.

Memorabilia

Enjoy by Schooldrivers was used to promote N’JOY milk by FAGE S.A. during the whole series.

Though originally starting as rivals the bands Ainigma & Schooldrivers came to become close friends and they share a friendship till now.

You can read more on the winner announcement from Schooldrivers official blog post of that day (in greek).
